CLEANSING OIL

our Cleansing Oil can be used by itself to double cleanse, or it can be paired with our Gentle Cleansing Tallow Bar to remove impurities without stripping your face of its natural moisture. it's even mild enough to use on the eye area.

many soaps and cleansers can be too harsh, damaging the delicate skin barrier over time. this can lead to irritation, acne, dryness, or excessive oiliness. cleansing with oil can be a great way to break up dirt and make-up for a deep clean that won't dry out your skin.


*with daily use, a 1 oz bottle will last approximately 6-8 weeks

there are several ways to oil cleanse. we recommend experimenting to see which method works best for you.


Dry Double Cleansing Method
apply 2-3 pumps of oil to DRY fingers and gently massage into DRY face using small, circular motions for 1-2 minutes to break up impurities and make-up. then, add water to fingers and continue to massage the face. rinse and then gently wipe oil away with a lukewarm microfiber cloth. to finish, repeat with a second oil cleanse, or wash with our Gentle Cleansing Tallow Bar.



Wet Oil Cleansing Method
wet a cotton round or microfiber cloth with lukewarm water and wring out the excess. apply 1-2 pumps of oil to the cloth and gently massage into the face using small, circular motions until cloth becomes dirty. rinse the cloth, wring, and apply more oil to a clean area of the cloth. continue repeating the steps until skin is completely cleansed. to finish, rinse with lukewarm water or wash with our Gentle Cleansing Tallow Bar.


Eye Make-Up Removal
apply 2-3 pumps of oil to fingers or cotton ball. massage very gently into lashes, lids and brows. continue to cleanse until make-up is removed. follow with our Gentle Cleansing Tallow Bar to remove any remaining oil or residue. wipe away any last bits of make-up in the lash line with a swab or cloth.



*keep in mind that while most skin types benefit from oil cleansing, some people will not. if you are encountering new irritation, redness, or other issues after starting oil cleansing that doesn't resolve after several days, it would be best to find a different cleansing method.
